My17-year-old son and I loved our stay at this fantastic beachside property. The convenience of being right on the beach, paired with those stunning views, made each day unforgettable. There wasn’t anything you needed to bring other than your personal items. They had everything you needed for a fun day at the beach. Even though there was air conditioning available, we couldn't resist opening the windows and the apartment door windows to let in a refreshing crosswind. The soothing sound of waves crashing echoed through the night, adding a magical touch to our experience.Everything we needed was right at our fingertips, which truly enhanced our stay. Everything was supplied in the kitchen as well as extra items in the bathroom if you might’ve forgotten shampoo, conditioner, or even lotions and aloe. Communication with the host was always clear and prompt, and she consistently went above and beyond to respond to any questions we had. After spending a few days in Luquillo, I was genuinely impressed by the wide array of amenities this property offered. It was a pleasant surprise that made our visit even more comfortable.I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway.

There was no need to talk to host . Liked that they provided beach chairs and high rise seats. Steps to the beach. Pool was in shade all day and cold but it was January. We would go back again

We had such a lovely stay. The apartment is ideally and idyllically situated just overlooking the beach across the street but high enough up to feel private. We really enjoyed the balcony. A huge and lovely pool offers an alternative to the beach if one wishes. The apt is cute and comfy and well stocked with beach equipment, sand toys for kids, towels, etc., and it’s great to have a kitchen. There’s good cross-ventilation if you don’t want to use the A/C. If you want to read in bed, pack an “itty bitty book light” or similar. The sound of the waves will lull you to sleep. Lots of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. The host kindly offered to let us store our bags if we arrived before the apt was ready (this was before check-in time); very kind and helpful. Truly a wonderful vacation rental!

El lugar estaba limpio , muchos paños y sábanas . Mi sugerencia sería que nesecita un poquito de update ejemplo el Coffee Maker , glass wine , un poquito de reemplazo a las cosas viejas sería excelente. El sonido de las olas en las noches es maravilloso .

Amazing view

We enjoyed our stay at Playa Azul. Convenient location close to everything in Luquillo. I just didn’t like that it didn’t have a laundry room. It was nice having the beach chairs and umbrella available to use.

Clean & Decent Location

We went for a quick long weekend get away from the cold. The condo was clean, bed was comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The condo is about a 5 minute drive from Luquillo Beach and the Kiosks. There are about 2 restaurants you can walk to. To get to the other fast food places and Walgreens you would have to cross a 4 lane highway at a light. There is 1 air conditioner in the bedroom. Worked well for us in the bedroom, but not sure if it would work for cooling the whole condo during hotter months. Also, they ask that you do not flush toilet paper due to old pipes. A bidet would probably be a good investment. Also, the waves at the beach outside the condo are too rough to swim in. No one was in the water. But, again Luquillo Beach is super close and the view is amazing to wake up to. It was nice and clean with a good location

Very quaint apartment

The property was exactly as advertised. Kitchen was fully shocked including plastic throwaway cups! Which is rare for rental properties. A cart to bring to the beach, towels, cooler etc

Great Location, cozy stay

Staying on the beach in Luquillo was great- we went to the beach right beside the residence and could walk in both directions to other beaches and downtown was just a 10 minute walk away. Great restaurants - highly recommend La Fonda. We had a car so supermarket was less than 5 mins away, short ride to Rainforest and Fajardo. Cynthia was very communicative, easy checkin. When the power went out she stayed in touch, elevators were working, and so much to enjoy outdoors anyway. Highly recommend!

Good value for the price

For us, everything we needed was there for a reasonably priced week. The pros: 1) beautiful view from the balcony, 2) easy access to beach and pool, 3) the kitchen was well equipped, 4) easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. For those looking for a completely updated venue, this might not be for you. The louverd shutters in the bedroom didn't close well, and the fridge and stove were older models, but if you're not a diva, this place would work well for you.

Rust and peeling badly of kitchen appliances. No zipper on insulated bag. Fridge worked good. Bugs in bathroom. Appalled that we had to out toilet paper in the trash. Didn’t see extra bags, went to buy some. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning worked good in bedroom. Should have a tv in there because the living room heat was unbearable. Fans only moved hot air around. Towels/wash cloths/kitchen towels were so old you could almost see through them and they didn’t smell good. Definitely need new ones. Keys were so difficult to use. Took at least 3-5 minutes of twists me and clicking to get it open. Odd that you have to use a key to get out of the room. Security was friendly. Pool was beautiful but didn’t know it is shared by all of properties. View was the only plus. Would not return to this property without proof it had been updated.

Great location and condo!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The view was spectacular and the location was convenient to many sights. The condo was perfect for the two of us and well-equipped. We appreciated all the beach towels and beach equipment. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals in. The beds were comfortable and we loved listening to the ocean waves at night.

This spot was perfect for us, a senior couple from NH. Kitchen had all the necessary tools, the view of the beach clear from the balcony. We spent a lot of time looking at the ocean from the balcony. Building felt secure, and all the folks we met were friendly and helpful.

Playa Azul

This is not a new building, so don't expect any high end appliances or fixtures. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and the shower worked well. The view from the balcony was incredible! The beach and pool were amazing and there was tons of activities close by. Would stay again. AND, the clock on the microwave was actually set to the right time(what!?!)
