El Yunque House with Private Pool & Amazing Views

If you are looking for a serene getaway close to the rainforest and the beach then this is the right place for you! This beautiful 3 story house located at the foothill of El Yunque rainforest with breathtaking views.

Located in a highly sought area, this prime real estate is only steps away from the best attractions in Puerto Rico. Steps away from rivers, short drive to the beach and restaurants. 30 minutes away from San Juan International Airport.

The house is equipped with a game room with a pool table , domino table , 60” smart tv, sectional, board games.

The house has 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms in the 2nd floor and one by the pool in the ground floor). There are 3 1/2 bathrooms. 2 bathrooms in the second floor, 1/2 bath in the first floor, and one full bathroom in the game room. The game room is located by the pool in the ground floor.

Ground floor consist of an entertainment/game room , full bathroom and a bedroom.

1st floor has kitchen, dining room , 2 living rooms and a half bathroom.

2nd floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and laundry area. That includes a master bedroom with its own bathroom.

The house was large and comfortable for our group of 7. More attention to simple details would have made our stay much better, like: - there is a pool table but no cue ball, the felt on the table is ripped and 5 or 6 cue sticks but only 1 cue stick has any felt on the tip.- When we first entered the house I found a bucket with water and a mop sitting in the middle of the foyer.- The house was clean in the highly visible spots but not in corners behind furniture or around the sides of the stove.- There was no renters guide or list of instructions and recommendations for local dining that you usually find in a high end vacation rental.- The bed in the master bedroom was loud enough to wake my wife or I whenever we shifted sleeping position.- The dresser drawer in the master bedroom came apart the first time we tried to use it. Someone had obviously tried to repair it in the past by hammer in a couple of metal staples to hold it together. Of course the “repair” did not last.

This is a beautiful home located near the El Yunque rainforest. It is only minutes to the beach and there are tons of things to do in the area. The home is super clean, modern and has all the amenities you will ever need on a vacation.

Rainforest delight

Wonderful house with a lot close by. 2 zipline parks within 10 minutes, entrance to Yunque 7 minutes, river swimming spot walkable. We really enjoyed the evenings with the sounds of the rainforest.Pool and pool table were a big hit with everyone giving us lots to do when not in nature. Only thing I would have liked to know is that the main living area does not have AC, bedrooms and game room do (and they work great)

Only 3 real bedrooms and no hand towels

The "ground floor" bedroom by the pool is NOT connected inside any other rooms. You must go outside to the game room for the nearest toilet, and for the rest of the house you walk up a flight of slippery OUTDOOR stairs to the kitchen. The main house: the entry floor has an open kitchen & dining area, a half bath, and 2 open living room areas. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The large master has a double bed & a pullout couch. The bedroom with the bunk bed (double on bottom, twin on top) had no pullout couch like the listing said. The kitchen had no hand/dish towels or potholders. The bathrooms had no hand towels or bathmats, nor holders for such. One bathroom had no TP holder. The bathroom sinks don't have hot water & the handsoap dispensers had dish soap. Only the master bath had body soap or a hairdryer.The house was very clean but the cleaner was clearly in a rush - mop supplies were left out, laundry was still running, the house wasn't locked up, etc.The bedrooms have AC mini-splits but the main floor doesn't. With windows open & the ceiling fans it was ok, but the fans need instructions - 2 tech-savvy millennials never fully figured out their controls. There is a big generator. No cell signal at the house but the wifi worked except in the master. Beautiful peaceful views from the rooftop deck, and the location is convenient to El Yunque & Luquillo. It's not a bad house, but the bedroom and linen situations were unexpected giving the descriptioand price.

INCREDIBLE HOST/AMAZING STAY

We had an awesome time on a couples trip. The host was the best and the most helpful and supportive in every way possible. We will most definitely be returning and booking this beautiful property real soon. That’s a guarantee!
