"We had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Varenna is a great little town. If you stay for a week definitely plan some day trips to surrounding areas via ferry or boat taxi. The rooms were clean and staff were very accommodating and kind. Willing to help with anything we needed (airport transfer, dinner reservations, spa, boat routes). "This is a lovely little boutique hotel between Varenna and Bellano. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and help you navigate the Lake Como transportation options. Walkable to Bellano to catch the ferry. Very comfortable bed and beautiful lake view from the balcony. The bathroom is all glass, which is strange, but with two people it is no issue. Just step on to the balcony to give each other privacy. A really beautiful spot to start our trip, thank you! "

"This hotel is in the heart of the lakefront promenade. There are shops and eateries all around. I loved the lake view from my room. However, on a Saturday night it was not such a prime spot as music from a restaurant below kept me awake until midnight. In retrospect it was a small price to pay for a very special stay. "

"The property is lovely. It’s modern and very clean. Staff is great. Beautiful terrace with a stunning view. Breakfast delicious. Negative- it is situated off of a very steep incline. It’s .7 miles uphill from the ferry dock. You can take a bus and get dropped closer to the guest house, but there still is quite a walk from the bus stop. "This guest house was magical! Joseph (the proprietor) bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful-- he met us late at night to check in, made us special breakfasts for our kids, arranged a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant, and so much more. "Great hotel, renovated a few years ago so in great condition - clean rooms, great location, quiet. short walk to town and awesome restaurant options. Make sure to reserve parking upfront as only have a few spaces. Lobelt breakfast. Excellent service - they helped recommend tours, places to eat, etc. We followed all recommendations and things were perfect. Thank you."
