"Staff were so welcoming! My room allocation was quickly sorted. Breakfast was great! Staff couldn't have done more and I really enjoyed it. I didn't use the bar, but it seemed busy. The bed's mattress was very firm. All linen was beautifully crisp and clean. Fluffy, quality white towels. Shower was easy to use and lovely and hot with no problems. "Looked for a cheap overnight hotel in Middlesbrough, and found Longlands. Rooms were simple, shared toilets and showers as advertised, but clean and tidy. There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out. I added the breakfast, which was really good value. "
