"The house is beautiful. Very tasteful decor and open concept. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again. "

"We enjoyed our trip to Salado. The place was exactly as advertised - cute, clean and comfortable. The host’s instructions were clear and easy. Communication was excellent and we were confident that the hosts would address anything we needed. The neighboring area is quiet and scenic. Overall it was a lot of fun. "

"We loved staying at this house. The backyard was amazing! It was a very easy walk to restaurants and shops. The bedrooms and closets were large, great living and kitchen space, nice bathrooms, very comfortable beds and bedding. We would 100% book here again! "

"Well maintained property. Plenty of room for our entire multigenerational family. Host was available and responsive to questions and concerns. Great ranch experience with bonus amenities to include very well maintained pool, full kitchen and numerous indoor and outdoor living space options! Love this place and would definitely recommend!"

"I would highly recommend this property. My family and I booked this stay for my daughter’s high school graduation. We wanted our out of state family to have a comfortable, clean, and exciting stay while visiting Texas. This property met our expectations and exceeded them. "House was in a central location where it was easy for us to run around town easily. Good for having a busy wedding weekend "

"Overall the property was good. Had a snafu the first night with an internet problem so the WiFi was down, but the host fixed it the next morning. We were able to get a ok signal with our hot spots so the night was not lost. Had a furry visitor. Local goat visited us. Sleeping accommodations were good. plenty of room for our group."

"Amazing property, outstanding views of the lake looking west. Awesome pool and hot tub! Kitchen was laid out nicely. Beds were awesome, a/c kept it very comfortable. "

"Great property. Nice and quiet neighborhood. House was in great shape, with it pretty much furnished from Ikea. Back yard was spacious, and it was nice having the pool. Justin always reached out to let us know if the pool was to be clean or the yardwork was going to be done. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something close enough to Austin, but far enough away from the chaos of the city."

"We just got home from our stay in Elaine’s condo. The room was clean, updated, very well furnished with everything we needed for our week stay! The condo is close to everything and the view of the beach was amazing! The area was not busy at all, very quiet area. Elaine was also very responsive with any and all questions. Very much so will be booking again! "

"We came to Georgetown for Two Step Inn & had a great stay at the River Retreat! The weather was too cold for the pool, but it looks gorgeous & would be wonderful for warmer days. We loved the big couch in the living room for evening conversation."
