"Rhonda is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are charming and thoughtful decorated in a home with a long history. Plenty of street parking near house. We spent the evening on J Street and found a wonderful coffee house nearby the next morning. Great location on the edge of downtown Sacramento and a wonderful experience."

"This is a very good location. Golden 1 & lots of eateries with in walking distance. Old sac is also walkable . It’s clean and the staff is friendly . It’s very reasonable priced as well We often stay here when we travel in the Sacramento area "

"A little gem of a stay in the historic poverty ridge district. The penthouse is converted attic space that sleeps four easily. There is coffee tea and water all day and a simple continental breakfast. historic home, but we had plenty of hot water for showers. Short a few bathroom towels for our stated number of guests, sure we could have asked for more but we were just here for one night. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Glad to have found this gem. "

"Same options for breakfast every day. Staff was friendly. Loved the free shuttle to three different spots in the city. You could call them and they would pick you up instead of taking an uber. Location was a bit far but shuttle made up for it."

They have the cutest little dog that greets you when checking in, and the process is so smooth and seamless. The rooms were clean, and as someone who had to stay for a night, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of. "

"If you like the smell of marijuana all day, stay here. People openly smoking in lobby and pool area. Bad surrounding neighborhood. Hotel itself is too good for this area. "

"It is a smaller hotel. There are homeless people outside everywhere and you’re in the same parking lot as a gas station. Basically the location is actually good for downtown. It’s very very close like 1 mile our window in our room did not shut and lock so that was a concern of mine, but fortunately nothing happened. "

"Checked into the hotel for a three night stay upon entering the room, It was absolutely disgusting. The AC unit covers were falling apart, Carpet was dirty, room smelled bad and to top it off. There was a big giant booger on the wall next to the bed. went to talk to the Office staff and they were not helpful, told me I had to wait until the morning to talk to a manager so I left booked a different hotel room and have been fighting with them ever since to try and get my money back for the stay....
