"The Delta King provided a delightful alternative to a sterile hotel environment. It is an old converted river ship with gorgeous woodwork and features like a pull-chain toilet and 2 shower knobs to adjust hot and cold with good water pressure. The restaurant was good and the staff extremely attentive, friendly and interactive. Our room, while small, was clean and more than adequate with a great view of the river. "Waited for front desk clerk and would have waited more until my husband went behind the breakfast line and called for someone to check us in. Plus $16 for parking!?!?!"

"It is a smaller hotel. There are homeless people outside everywhere and you’re in the same parking lot as a gas station. Basically the location is actually good for downtown. It’s very very close like 1 mile our window in our room did not shut and lock so that was a concern of mine, but fortunately nothing happened. "

"I don’t usually write reviews but this Inn was very impressive, and the owners are the nicest people who care about their visitors. They have the cutest little dog that greets you when checking in, and the process is so smooth and seamless. The rooms were clean, and as someone who had to stay for a night, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of. "

"We stay at The Sterling once a year. This may be the last time we do so. The main issue was the shower/tub. The main shower head would only dispense cold water. We had to use the small body shower head to clean. The water would not drain from the tub. We had multiple people staying in our room. After 2 showers, we had half a tub full of dirty water so the rest of our guests were unable to shower. The volume on the remote for the tv also did not work.
