Great location and the accommodations were perfect for the extended family. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked! We certainly put the kitchen to very good use and our celebration was a success.The owner was quick to respond to questions and quite accommodating. We all had a wonderful time!!

Great location. Perfect for a family girls weekend. We had a blast. Walking on the beach was the highlight. The Camp Ellis general store was perfect for morning coffee and provided delicious lobsters for dinner one night. The owners were so friendly. Also the large dinning table was key for us.

We had a wonderful week at Peekytoe in Camp Ellis. Woke up to a breathtaking sunrise each morning. Played cards and games at night taking advantage of the dining table that seats 10 easily. Got the fire pit going one night and hung out in the yard enjoying the weather and relaxing in the comfy chairs. Plenty of room for our group! Beds were comfy and the cottage and carriage house had what we needed. Loved it! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Property was beautiful, large family we utilized all sleeping areas and had a wonderful stay. We arrived fairly early hoping to utilize the beach before entering seeing as we missed any traffic and the owner was very friendly and accommodating for us. Would definitely recommend for large groups looking for a relaxing stay.

Amazing stay! Great location.

We had such a great time! Definitely will return 1010 recommend. House was very clean. Maine was very friendly. Great property on water. Communication with the owners were great and speedy. Beds were very comfortable fully stocked kitchen. Very spacious home.

Perfect for a family reunion!

Peekytoe Cottage was absolutely perfect for our Thanksgiving family reunion! The location is to die for, the carriage house was ideal for the teenage cousins to have their own space, and the kitchen was the best-appointed one I’ve ever seen in a rental. Also appreciated was the first floor bedrooms for folks who needed to avoid stairs. We had a wonderful time!

Another Wonderful Stay!

We just returned from our second stay at this beautiful ocean house, and it was just as fantastic as we remembered! The views are breathtaking, and the house is perfectly equipped for family gatherings. We enjoyed the beach, cozy evenings by the fire, and exploring the nearby sights. The location is ideal, providing both tranquility and access to local attractions. The property manager was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return next year for another memorable Columbus Day weekend! Highly recommend!

Fantastic friend getaway!

7 of us stay here. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had all the necessary items to enjoy the week. The sunrises are amazing off the property. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful!

We could not have asked for a better place to introduce my husbands side of the family to Maine. Great location, we loved the view and loved being able to hear the waves from most of the rooms in the house. We loved sitting on the beach, sharing meals at the big table, and spending evenings by the fire pit. The host was great as well, any questions were answered right away, fastest response from any VRBO host we’ve ever had. We hope to stay again, highly recommend!

Perfect Location and Accomodation

My friends and I spent a weekend at the beachfront property for a bachelorette and the place was perfect! Everyone kept asking how we found this place because it had everything you needed and more. The beach is directly behind the property and you can visit the Old Orchard Pier just 10 minutes down the road. The property owner left notes around the house with instructions and wifi information which was super helpful. The garage even had beach toys and chairs. One of the nights we had a hibachi vendor come to cook for us in the backyard. Having the 3 tables already in the backyard made it super easy to accomodate everyone for dinner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking. As an FYI, there are about 4 parking spots in the driveway with one on the street. We've been told there are side streets you can park on as well.

Large family vacation

The house was great for us. We utilized every bedroom and sleeping space. The view and the sound of the ocean was awesome. The beach was mostly quiet and we had many fires in the fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped. The two double beds on the second floor were a little challenging because you had to walk through to get to the third floor and we kept waking people up but we got around it.

Multi-family vacation

We had an amazing stay with 5 families at this beach house! The house fit us all very comfortably and all 10 kids had the best time exploring the beach, the backyard, and the neighborhood. The house is at the end of a dead end street and was perfect for biking and scooter riding! The kids all loved riding over to the general store right around the corner to get candy and ice cream. Would highly recommend this house and would definitely come again :).

Family Reunion

The property was a great location right on the ocean. Great for a group of our 11 who stayed there. The only issue for us was a that no bathroom towels or bed linens are provided. It was noted in the details but you really had to search for it and we missed it in our review. So we were significantly surprised when we got there and had to run to a WalMart store to buy towels, washcloths, bed linens etc before we could stay there. I would highly suggest to the manager that they note this in a more prominent location in their listing so others don’t get the same surprise we had. Otherwise our group enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the sunrises in the early morning, the fire pit was a great plus and being able to walk outside to the beach was magnificent. Plenty of room inside for everyone to gather and visit..

Gorgeous + relaxing mini vaca!

What a beautiful property.. We have been going to Maine for a annual family trip for about 25 years and as our family has gotten bigger, we get more cramped on our vacations.. Not here! At one point there were 18 of us at the house and not once did we feel cramped. We hope to rent again next year if the house is still available. Also, Nick, the property manager, was always extremely helpful and answered very quickly when we needed him. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Location and An Overall Nice Place

We stayed here with 10 children and 8 adults and never felt cramped. The yard and the proximity to the beach are what made our stay. Plenty of room for the kids to play and it was about 40-50 feet to get to get to the ocean.

Wonderful stay!

We always enjoy our time here. The house and cottage provide plenty of comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The view and sound of the waves is amazing and it is wonderful to sit around the fire pit in the evening.
