"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is off the beaten path with each room a separate bungalow with one entire wall a window looking out on the jungle and volcano in the distance. Whe could hear Howler Monkeys at night and birds continuously. One drawback is dining choices near the hotel are very limited with only one restaurant and coffee shop within a five mile distance. Still, very enjoyable stay that gives one the sense of staying in the jungle. "

"This property was exactly as advertised. A small family owned place surrounded by nature and walking trails. The bungalow had everything we needed including picture windows looking out at the forest/gardens, a king size bed, coffee maker, small fridge, good shower, a wonderful covered patio and even a lovable dog! "We had such a lovely stay at Belcruz. When we arrived, Randall welcomed us with a great explanation of where to go in Monteverde and took us to our room.
