"Location of the property in proximity to Pier 39 was fantastic. It was a super easy location to navigate within the rest of the city as well. The rooms were really nice as well as the beds. Our bathroom was super small though. The included breakfast was fantastic. The downside is that if you have any tours that begin before 6:30am, there are no food options to select from inside the hotel. You are close to a Trader Joe's, Starbucks and Walgreens if needed. The outside fire pits could use some...

"Hotel was in a perfect location for all the pier and excursion pick up activities that we plan (Napa Valley tour and Alcatraz). The room was clean and comfortable. The other areas of the hotel could be a bit more updated and refreshed -- carpets, furniture, elevators. One elevator was not working and there are only two which caused a bit of a wait when going to and from our room. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating :-). "I have stayed at this hotel a half dozen times now, and it is my go to in San Francisco. The location is perfectly central, right next to the Chinatown gate and just between Union Square and the financial district. The immediate neighborhood has walkable conveniences ranging from neighborhood markets to coffee shops and lovely small restaurants - particularly several French cafes and bistros. All is always spotlessly clean, safe, and quiet, and prices are a good value for SF. I recommend...
