"Very clean and efficient -great place to stay if wanting to be close to the airport for early morning flight/arriving late - we stayed as we wanted to watch the planes fly in and out of Gatwick."

"Good room for a brief stay overnight and proximity to Gatwick. The sink was blocked in the room. However, the restaurant was awful. The service was terrible, with our order forgotten, and took over 1 hour to come out. Drinks to over 20 minutes. When it did arrive, it was not the quality expected of a Marriott with the meat poor quality, the cesar salad full of mayonnaise. For two mains and two drinks it cost over £70. Do yourself a favour and avoid the restaurant"

"Really good hotel and really good room. Superbly comfortable bed. Staff were super friendly and great restaurant. So close to north terminal with access via shuttle to south terminal."

"Had to exchange numerous e-mails with property to confirm availability and confirmation of adjoining rooms. There was NO housekeeping for the rooms over a 4 day stay, although request cards were left on the door. Had to go to the front desk to request clean towels, bed linens never changed. No refrigerator in room. Safe door was left open in locked position so safe could not be utilized. Interaction with front desk staff OK and accommodating. Breakfast buffet adequate."

"Friendly staff and a 'home from home' feeling in the cosy pub. Fantastic Sunday roast dinner and a comfortable warm room to complete the evening. "

"The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so polite and welcoming but struggled to sleep due to the temperature in the room or could of been the bed sheets weren't cotton as they felt like a furnace."

"Room clean. Green fire light in room which was on all night, very bright when trying to sleep. Location nice and parking secure"

"Room was very dusty and was hot as sauna . Tv remote extremely dirty/sticky . No bottled water . Shower blocked . Toilet flush button broken . Food very expensive and not tasty . You have to pay service charge !!!! As a guest !!!Shame"

"The room was clean and spacious, but unfortunately the bedding had stains, and the toilet, bathroom, and floors were not cleaned. The bath drain was also blocked, something the hotel already seems aware of, as I later saw similar complaints in online reviews. It was disappointing to realise we had been given a room with an issue that had clearly been reported before. The staff were also quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was little to no greeting, and even when I tried to be polite and...

"The location of the hotel was excellent for an early morning flight being across the road from the airport. The restaurant on the property was pretty good. Room amenities were also good and appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property."

"Had not been informed of extra charges, when arranging earlier check in, and checked this prior to making booking ,direct with hotel and a few days before checking in. Pool changing, had to get them to bring clean towels, as was overflowing with dirty wet ones, changing area was not clean. At breakfast had to ask for fresh eggs, as the ones available had been sitting there a while.overall experience not enjoyable."
