"Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely"

"Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!"

"We have stayed at Ennio’s on numerous occasions; each and every time, we are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome (as I believe all guests get). Condition of property is excellent. To top it off there is a lovely restaurant, with a totally authentic Italian vibe- it can appear a little intimidating, but staff are great. Can’t recommend Ennio’s highly enough."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful! It's really hard to find a dog friendly hotel that are so relaxed about actually bringing dogs! Especially as our puppy is a big boy and sometimes, due to his bread, people are cautious of him. But the hotel were great and didn't make us feel nervous or "in the way" at all. It was a lovely stay."

"The hotel is well located & has pleasant facilities. However as seniors would not recomend it. Rooms are upstairs with m ultiple narrow staircases which as an 80 plus senior made access arduous If I were a 30/40 something I would heartily recomend it Cost & location are excellent. Oxford st. With great restos & bars is less than a minutes walk."

"We recently stayed at this hotel after breaking down on our journey. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make our first night and phoned the hotel to explain the situation. The woman we spoke to didn’t seem very interested or concerned, and we were disappointed that nobody even asked if we were okay given the circumstances. "No air conditioning is really unacceptable for a Novotel hotel. Also, no phone in the room is unheard of for a Novotel property. We should get a partial refund for the above mentioned 2 major normal amenities Nit being available."
