"I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise."

"It is an older property with its own charm. Location is close to shipping, restaurants, buys stops, train station, so very convenient. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor, end of the hall, so it was very quiet. Steps are narrow and steep, no elevator. Lots of exercise! Hotel staff was fabulous. St Fagans national museum of history and Caerphilly Castle are both worth visiting!"

"Shops etc quite a walk from hotel. One coffee facility within easy walking distance. A grab rail in shower would be very useful to avoid slipping. Very clean bedding towels and bathroom."

"Only stayed one night, room was clean & shower room was a good size space. Staff we met were very helpful. Did not have an evening meal at the hotel but had breakfast and the restaurant seemed very spacious. The location was great if going into the city as it’s a 2 minute walk."
