"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. "We enjoyed our stay at Mona's cabin on the river. Home is well stocked and has 2 nice sitting areas outside. The yard has lots of shade and stayed pretty cool and breezy for the middle of summer. The walk down to the river is beautiful and has a spring creek that feeds into the Nueces which gave a nice spot to cool down."

"Check-in was super easy and directions to the cabin were very helpful. Christy, our host, was extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back as soon as possible! The stargazing and wildlife were spectacular. The crazy rains prevented us from enjoying river time, but it’s very nice private access. "

"We had a group of 14 (preteens, teens, & adults) and stayed for 4 nights. We loved how everything was set up. The bunkhouse was the perfect setup for the teens. We loved how close to town the house is and just a short drive to Garner. With the houses, pool, river, pavilion, and games we had everything we needed right there. Thanks so much for hosting us!"

"Clean and well furnished. Kitchen had everything needed and was thoughtfully stocked with all utensils/tools. Used the smoker to make dinner the second night. Quick 30-45 second walk from the front door to the Frio River. Our boys had a blast fishing all day and spending time at Garner State Park."
