Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. "This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend."

"Our trip was very relaxing. The views were beautiful. It rained a lot but there were plenty of games and puzzles. The younger generation were amazed by the old phones. This is a beautiful little town and home. "

"We had a group of 14 (preteens, teens, & adults) and stayed for 4 nights. We loved how everything was set up. The bunkhouse was the perfect setup for the teens. We loved how close to town the house is and just a short drive to Garner. With the houses, pool, river, pavilion, and games we had everything we needed right there. Thanks so much for hosting us!"

"We had the best time at this property. The house and bunk house are AMAZING. It gave us plenty of room to spread out and have some space. There wasn’t much water right in front of the house(which we knew) but there is a great swimming hole 50 yds away and another one the other direction. "Clean and well furnished. Kitchen had everything needed and was thoughtfully stocked with all utensils/tools. Used the smoker to make dinner the second night. Quick 30-45 second walk from the front door to the Frio River. Our boys had a blast fishing all day and spending time at Garner State Park."

"We were 10 people. One family of 5 stayed in the bunkhouse, one family upstairs and 1 couple downstairs. We had plenty of room and it was comfortable. There was good water in the river. It is a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed our stay and would return. "

"This was exactly what we were needing! The cottage is adorable and private, which we loved. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking! We spent hours in the afternoons enjoying the river and I think our dogs enjoyed it more than we did! It was flowing nicely, clear and cold. We love the Frio, it’s always been our happy place! We will be back! "
