"This house was perfect for where we wanted to stay. It’s right on the water and had a great deck to sit and relax. The house was clean and had plenty of the amenities that you will need. The location was great right on Route 66. Make shure you stop in downtown and do some antique shopping. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Host was welcoming the interior was fine although hand towels , hand soap for the bathroom and Kleenex would have made it a five. The exterior was a mess! Garbage in the backyard and vomit I. The yard made us go around the house thru cars to the front yard to potty the dogs. Not found until snow started to melt!"

"The host did not disclose that they live on the property. The house was not ready at 4pm. When we arrived at 6pm, the host was still inside cleaning. We did not stay here because we were uncomfortable with the host living on the property and numerous other things. There was a weird door behind a mirror on the wall. "I chose this home because we were visiting Chicago and wanted a place outside Chicago with easy access to the Metra station (Joliet). We were very happy with our choice! The house was spotless and quite spacious. Safe and convenient location, many restaurants nearby. My husband enjoyed having large TVs in both the living room and bedroom. The bed was comfy and i loved all the windows and sunlight. Would definitely book again if we're back in the area! "
