"We arrived very late in the evening about 9:30pm and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. They recommended a local takeaway that delivered and allowed us to eat our food in the bar and have a drink. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back."

"The Royal was a terrific find for us. The owners were delightful and the hotel their pride and joy. Breakfast is delicious and included and the room, and bed were very comfortable. The shower is good also."

"The Crosskeys Inn is a perfect example of a local pub providing accomodations to a very high standard while remaining true to its original purpose as a village pub. Very clean, food was excellent, friendly staff and folk music in the bar, it's hard to see how they can improve."

"Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. "The hotel has a large car park. The rooms were clean and warm. The hotel was taylored more for eating. The meals were excellent and the bar closed early after meals were finished. There were no casual bar customers. Pleanty of bars close by. The area was very safe and comfortable to walk around at any time..Nice friendly staff."

"Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed.
