"Stanley was our favourite town in Tasmania and On The Terrace as was of the nicest places we stayed. It was very spacious, had everything we needed and extra attention was paid to small details to make it a real experience."

"We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

"Amazing views. Place is well equipped but basic. Be aware no TV so need to bring your entertainment. Fantastic place to escape too highly recommend."

"This property was in a great location. We hardly used the car during our stay and enjoyed walking everywhere. It was so well decked out and had everything we could possibly need. So many lovely pictures and personal touches. I would definitely love to stay here again!"

"Great location. Quiet. Basic amenities but could do with a couple of extra utensils in the kitchen area (additional bread and butter knife, there was only one and steak knives aren’t the best for spreading, a pot that fits fits the steamer). The shower was good. Plenty of hot water. Bed super comfortable. Decent linens. Excellent selection of reading material as there was TV, music source or wifi in our beach cabin. "Generally, very good. To improve, it will be good to provide instruction on how to deal with rubbish bins. Also, there is problem to communicate with host as this is a non-wotif property and host message to me through the managing agent (website) is lost. I have to contact the host direct to found out they actually gave me messages. "

"We wanted to visit the Tarkine and this proved the perfect base. Spacious and cosy with easy to operate wood fire, good kitchen with full size fridge.Lots of thoughtful touches made this a very pleasant stay."

"This is a spectacular and stunningly comfortable home in a stunning garden in a lush wildlifey forest which epitomises Australia. You'll struggle to find time for the tourist attractions. Just be comfy with log fires, plush furniture and a fern forest garden with pure freshwater creeks with yabbies, wallabies and birdlife you'd seldom see. Claire - the host - will show you round and then chat or vanish as needed but it's her home, she built it, and knows heaps."
