"The manager here was so amazing and welcoming to us. He made sure our stay here was amazing from start to finish. We had to go to the airport early in the morning and was going to miss breakfast however he made us a breakfast box so that we weren’t starving in the morning when we went to the airport in addition to the great service at this resort, it was so beautiful staying here and I wish we got to stay longer. "

"Hotel is in a great location in Luxor, super central with the opportunity for a river side Nile walk all the way down to Luxor Museum and Temple. Not the highest standard, but for the great price, fine for a couple nights while exploring Luxor."

"This is an average looking hotel, but there are aspects which are five star....the staff, the service, the attitude, the hospitality, the welcome. I've been travelling five months through South America and Europe and this hotel was the BEST one I've stayed in. They bend over backwards to serve you and to make you comfortable. It was wonderful. "If you only care about location and a cheap price, then this place would work for you. This hotel needs lots of TLC. For me it seems like this place used to be a very good hotel, but they have neglected maintenance. Everything was old (beyond usual wear and tear), especially the mattresses. The restaurant's prices are really inflated, and honestly for nothing. Anyhow, the reception and bell hop staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Mr. Ali and Abdullah, as well as the complete hotel staff takes care of us on all aspects. They are super friendly, that make you feel like they are your family. They provided us the best options possible for visiting so many places in few days at the best price. They really made as feel very comfortable… you can trust them very quickly. For sure I fully recommend Shady Hotel in Luxor, they exceeded my expectations!!!"

"We are a family of 5, I have 3 daughters and I really liked that they had a huge kids pool with a slide and all. Also the mini zoo they have is great for the kids! Will definitely come back with the family! "
