"Location is perfect to go around the city with a lot of restaurants and bars all around. The hotel is under reconstruction. The social areas are limited, not bar inside hotel, no complementary water in the rooms, no body cream, or any regular items for a hotel of this class. Staff very kind and ready to help. Room service take too long to provide anything requested (i.e. 90 minutes to get a iron press). "

"I love this charming hotel! Located on a quiet street across from Notre Dame, great pasty shops, and the Siene! I arrived early and the woman at the desk was so helpful checking my backpack until check in. The room had so many amenities: steam iron, hair dryer, nespresso machine, tea, creamer, a safe, lots of hangers, toiletries, a mini fridge packed with things(wine, beer, chocolate, sodas that were priced reasonably, for example €3 for can of coke) The pillows (4) on the double bed were soft,...

"L’Empire is very centrally located and made walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame and Rue Montorgueil very easy. The staff at reception were outstanding! Sophia went out of her way to to help us. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of foodchoices. Joana’s bakery additions were delicious and she was really kind remembering our beverage choices each day!"

"Stayed here as a black woman solo traveler felt very safe very welcomed. The staff was very accommodating even upgraded me to a room with a balcony for free in the middle of my trip. It was nearby. Everything I even took a couple of trips on the metro. The view was stunning. The food in the area was amazing. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more although I will say I paid for the breakfast and it wasn’t as appetizing as I thought it would be, but I would pay for it again just for the convenience...

"The balcony was very small nearly unusable. The rooms smelt at times of smoke. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice touch that offer complementary iced tea and cake in the afternoon. The spa is a must we connected YouTube as it's a private hot tub and steam room and we used it as a karaoke room. Great location right next to arc de triomph and very close to a metro station."

"Great hotel right by The Louvre. Super friendly staff. Great daily housekeeping. The only thing is the breakfast was very “american”. Small selection, eggs and bacon. Which was disappointing because we love French food and we were looking forward to it. I actually skipped the prepaid breakfast for 2 days and went out to get something else. Dont buy their breakfast package. Not for the price they ask. But everything else was superb."
