Beautiful hilltop home features 'Ride In - Ride Out' access to the epic Winchester Bay Dunes. Enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Umpqua River, historic Lighthouse and Pacific Ocean!

This comfortable and accommodating 1,400 sq ft home includes 3 bedrooms and two full baths. 1 King Suite, 1 Queen Guest Room , and 1 Bunk room featuring 2 twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total). Relax in the private hot tub and enjoy the stunning unobstructed 180 degree view. BBQ on the grill out on the patio or gather around the backyard firepit. Well furnished in a fun beach motif with all the comforts you would find in your own home! Come experience our slice of paradise for yourself.

The kitchen is spacious and up to date with new stove/range and top of the line fridge/freezer stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for any size family!

There are many activities in the immediate area to take advantage of. From riding the dunes to fishing, crabbing, and beach combing. Local restaurants are a half mile away and the closest airport is 20 miles away.

- Master suite with King Bed, 50" Smart TV, private bathroom, and private deck with Hot Tub.

- Queen guest room with Umpqua river and Ocean views.

- Kids Room with x2 bunk beds for a total of 4 Twin beds.

- Full laundry room / wet room with provided detergents and softeners for your stay.

- Full kitchen with brand new stove/range + and additional countertop oven for large dinner requirements like Thanksgiving or Christmas! We even have a dishwasher so no need to clean dishes by hand during your stay!

We do not allow travel trailers or pets.

The view is what makes this property. Although it is time for some property updates. The house is way outdated for what they are charging. (main bathroom, deck and heaters) We could not get the living room heaters to turn off and made it pretty toasty. We would stay there again for the view.

The place had a substitute cleaner we learned after calling the owner so some grace has to be given. The home really smelled up on check-in, freezer had spilled food in it, cupboards had spills down them. They sent a cleaner in the next morning. The main issue I had was a charge to me for a repair that should never have been necessary had the correct steps been taken to secure a ship's captains wheel to the wall over the kitchen table with more than hooking it over one drywall screw. I just lifted my purse on the table next to the wall and bumped it. It could have been a child under there when it fell. I did call them immediately when I broke it. There was mold in the main bedroom, something I haven't seen at numerous other Coastal homes I've rented over the years. I've included pictures so that no one thinks I'm exaggerating

Dune riders

Great place to stay if you wanna ride the dunes enjoy the sunset and the amazing views from every room in the house!The hot tub was a bonus . The house is very nice and the hosts are very nice and easy to deal with. And it’s fun to stand in the yard and watch the RV campers load and unload stuff !

First time to the dunes

The place was great and had an amazing view. The only thing was the driveway was very steep and the turn around at the top was very small. However, Anthony and Haley reached out to me as soon as I booked to let me know this and make sure I could turn around which was very helpful. If someone isn't very familar pulling a trailer and backing up I wouldn't suggest bringing a trailer into this spot. On a different note the ride in and ride out of the dunes was awesome! There also was food in the marina very close by. I would definitely stay here again!

View beyond our expectation

We enjoyed our stay at the Healy Hideaway. The view was lovely, the space was cozy and convenient. Great Ammenities, all we needed. On our stay, we enjoyed fishing and crabbing., and exploring Lake Marie, lots of yummy food, and just hanging with family. Thank you for hosting. ❤️

Comfortable house made us feel at home

We enjoyed the fresh baked cookies and taffy on arrival. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We like that they provided fans for each room. The hot tub was nice, and the views are amazing. The only thing we would change would be to widen the parking spaces for trailers.

Excellent stay

Myself, my 4 boys and my sister and her daughter stayed and had a wonderful time. This house has a BEAUTIFUL view from the cliff side and a very short walk or drive to the bay or the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Vacation!

Spot is great. Dune access was amazing. Loved the views from the back yard and hanging out on the grass. Neighbors are great too! Plan for trailers when bringing them to this location. Its tight but doable with both entry/exits. Cant wait to visit again!
