"Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The room was not clean, and the bed was infested with bugs, making it impossible to sleep. By the time I discovered the issue, the front office was already closed, so I had no way to report it or request another room. As a result, I was forced to spend the night sleeping in my car. I hope the hotel addresses its cleanliness standards and provides a way for guests to get assistance after hours to prevent others from having a similar experience."

"Everything was as expected/shown. Our house and all of the grounds were kept in impeccable shape. It really felt like being in a resort instead of the beach. Highly recommend. My friend who joined me already booked a house for next year. The bikes were a great extra. "This was our 8th time at the Shalimar. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and met all our needs. The pool was well maintained and parking was always available.
