"Excellent accommodation in a quiet location. The Lodge is situated in lovely private grounds with electronic gates in Hemingford Grey. We stayed in the Oak room and loved the size of the room and the lovely bathroom. The room was very stylish from the oak flooring to the furniture and the bathroom. A good breakfast (cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast etc) was delivered on a tray to our room at a time to suit you. "We were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly. Our bedroom was comfortable, the shower hot and the food delicious. The staff couldn’t have been nicer - my wife even felt like maybe we had found long lost family. "

"Stayed in one of several bungalows in the grounds of the pub. It was clean, spacious, had lovely hot water and a plentiful hospitality tray. Huge comfortable bed."

"I had a great stay at Black Bull Inn. I was lucky enough to be there on a Quiz Night. The desk person (I didn't get his name) invited me to play and gave me a table next to his American friends. It was very nice. The room was great too. "

"Spacious room outside Cambridge that was 10-15min drive to the park & ride and West site Cambridge STEM campus. Ideal for an open day visit as parking was free at this hotel and we didn't fancy driving in central Cambridge. I used the swimming pool in the hotel which was a good size and open from 6.30am. the breakfast was plentiful and buffet style."
