Ranworth Broad, near to Ranworth, Norfolk, Great Britain. The broads were excavated in Mediaeval times to extract peat for fuel. The pits flooded creating broads, linked by rivers. The area is now a national park. The Cator family gave Ranworth Broad to NWT in 1949. NWT�s Patron the Queen opened the Broads Wildlife Centre in 1976. The trust run electric boat trips for those wishing to see the broad. A great view is also had from the floating visitor center.

The pool area was okay and while we did enjoy it we just feel it lacked an intimate atmosphere as was a gym club. Definitely could have done with either drinks service for guests or a bar. Lovely spacious standard room. Very quiet overnight, I did not hear noise from other rooms. Very friendly reception staff. Pool facilities looked lovely, although I didn’t have time to use them.
