"The only Issue we had was the lack of ales at the bar. Come Saturday evening, there was no real ale available at the hotel bar. This prevented us from eating at the hotel in the evenings. "

"Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, and a beautiful property. We stayed in the "China" room. An excellent choice as an upgrade over a "basic" hotel. The included breakfast was generous and there is a private members-bar on site that we were able to visit in the evening to chat with locals. "

"The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space. "We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break."
