"There was only one clerk working and he had multiple jobs. One time we needed ice, and it was in the machine that was in a locked area because the clerk was elsewhere. "This is a very nice hotel, right in the heart of the Santa Fe historic district. Literally a half block from the oldest church in the U.S., as well as (supposedly) the oldest house. About three blocks from the main plaza, the Loretto chapel is about a block over, etc. Hotel itself is nice, we needed a handicapped accessible room with roll in shower and they delivered. "El Ray is a time honored tradition. It has been the hot spot and an off spot over its many years. I am quite sure it has never bee as great as it is right now. Enough of everything for all members of a family including your pups, beautiful oasis from the strip of once great roadside stopins. A good food truck that meets all your needs while not competing with Santa Fe’s best, and the ease of friendly people and great management."

"Everything at Pueblo Bonito was very nice. My room was large and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the office did not open until 8:00 AM and closed at 5:00 PM. There was a very nice sitting area and a great table for games in the office building, but they closed at 5:00 so we couldn’t ever use it. "

"We loved Las Palomas! The rooms and shared spaces were charming and there is some great art in the courtyard. We were greeted with a frozen lemonade when we arrived, an unexpected but lovely gesture, and the complimentary breakfast was more like a restaurant meal than the usual hotel buffet. The location is an easy walk to the Plaza and other attractions. I think we’ve got a new favorite Santa Fe stay."

"Loved this property - staff was well trained and kind. The restaurant and room service food was superb. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated, homey and clean. The hotel has obviously paid great attention to everything a guest might need. Highly recommend. "

"This was a vacation within the vacation! What a lovely spot and every bit of it is comfortable, beautiful and relaxing. I could easily have spent days just sitting in all the various garden spaces. The bed was luxurious and comfortable and there was plenty of good coffee available in the room. Easy walk to the plaza too. We tried the brunch one day and it was delicious. This will be my place to stay in Santa Fe from now on."
