"When you walk through the door and are met with a big smile it sets an amazing tone. Jody on reception is a diamond and all of the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little quirky but that just adds to the ambience. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Manchester."

"We had a great time at this hotel. It was so unique and the staff were lovely. It was a great location to get too (apart from football traffic). Lots of different parking available closer or a little walk away. Easy to get to the shops and restaurants. Our hotel room was amazing. We were given an accessible room (which wasn’t needed) but perfectly fine. Only issue was it had a door attached to access another room which made us feel a bit uneasy but under stable for that room. "I've been to the Abel Heywood for food and drinks many times but this is the first time I've stayed over. It won't be the last time. The room was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, very well appointed - tea makings, a nice en suite and plenty of wardrobe space, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Even though it's located in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended "

"Loved our stay here, the apartment was clean and tidy and location was very central - however does get quite noisy late at night/ the bins being collected early in the morning but other than that was perfect"

"The staff was super helpful and the room was tended to with care in terms of cleanliness. Also, the Pool was awesome as well as the gym which may have been one of the better hotel gyms ive experienced with up to date equipment and a noticeably well kept space."

"The staff were so helpful and so friendly, making us feel welcome. The apartment was clean and comfortable and has everything one might need. My only small concern was that the hallways had a strong smell of some kind of cleaning product or air freshener, which was rather overpowering. Fortunately it was not so strong inside the room. Otherwise, highly recommend for apartment stay!"

"An amazing experience, we stayed in the Bank managers suite, complimentary prosecco on ice, roll top bath, emperors bed with egyptian cotton sheets, all of the little touches from the umbrella to the cash bags, breakfast in bed....amazing time. If you get chance, get this room. The staff are also first class, in particular Kelly, who is a credit to gotham, bright, helpful and engaging. Thank you. "
