Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. Room service will clean and make one side of the room and leave the rest unattended… They did it the first time,we thought it was a mistake but repeated same yesterday ,means that’s just who they are. The first thing my husband said upon our checkout was how extremely unprofessional the people were. It’s really sad and left a bitter taste in my mouth ."

We were able to do laundry to minimize the amount of clothing we had to pack, and utilized the kitchen to make tea and have simple breakfasts in the morning. "Informed the hotel of our expected arrival time as requested. Arrived at around 11am and were told the room was ready....but check in was not until 2pm so if we wanted to check in we'd have to pay £50 early check in fee. I declined, left my luggage with reception and made my way in to the city centre. Then at 12 noon received a call from the hotel to say I could check in now if I wanted free of charge. This was pretty annoying as we were now at an appointment and we could have checked into the...
