"My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. We got to have the room 7 which is at the top. We had a nice view to the street and also a small window for the sky. Breakfast was fantastic. Made by a cook at 8 am and we also had bananas, apples, juices, including a nice coffee machine. They also gave us the opportunity to leave our bags and go to explore the city in our last day. The zone is nice, you have a nice market on a walking distance, the area is safe, and you have 2 metro stations really...

"First time we’ve stayed since they’ve started upgrading work. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The check in staff were lovely and very helpful. There was no instructions for the air con controls but by the power of Google lens I was able to work out that I could download an app to control it. "The Dorset Hotel was beautifully styled and staff were so friendly and helpful. Good location. The only issue was the size of the rooms. I’d definitely upgrade. Unfortunately I think the hotel may have a damp problem as the rooms did have a musty smell. Maybe in the summer it will be better. "

"If you have a car be aware this Best Western is near the City of London and is quite a congested area parking is often hard to find. as for the hotel I love the pre wwII building,decorstions and overall feeling , a step bck into a different time is what they are selling here. "The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small."
