"Stay like a home It was a fantastic time to stay in Hampstead with Oak & Poppy! The facilities are authentic and modern, with very quiet surroundings so we had a rest very well. We would definitely like to come back here for the next holiday. "

"Very good location, a couple of minutes walk from bus stop, tube and train stations. Clean and fairly well stocked. My only gripe is that the apartment was extremely hot - really unbearably so. The temp outside was only about 15 degrees, so that didn’t account for it. In order to sleep, I had to have the window open and a fan on."

"Got a double room for under £150 (no breakfast). The hotel is in great condition, the decor and facilities are well looked after and maintained, which is due in some part to the fact the hotel was only opened about 3 years ago. The room was comfortable and there was enough room to move in. The ensuite wasn't very large but had enough room to do what you needed to do. (Shower was great.) The receptionist was really helpful. "Excellent and friendly staff. Accomodation is cheap and you get what you paid for. The property is a cracker and in a great location for trains, buses or even walking as I did. The breakfast was terrific and reasonably priced ."

"Our room was a double but with a shared bathroom. The ‘shared’ bit wasn’t clear on booking otherwise I’d have avoided it. They did offer to cancel but my booking was non refundable so we stayed. We walked from the station at King’s Cross, 45 mins so not far. Uber £7 in the morning to KC. Our room was very nice, comfortable. There’s a small patio garden area which in the nice weather will be amazing. The bathroom we only used for the toilet as we’re on our way home. Would I stay again? Yes but...

"The receptionist was friendly and helpful The room itself was very small but as I was travelling solo it didn’t matter too much, room and bathroom were both spotless though. Location was good, not far from Camden market and 15 minute walk to the o2 forum. I felt safe there as a woman on her own. A full length mirror on the back of one of the doors would be a great addition for outfit checking purposes! "

"This hotel was a nice surprise. I needed to stay in Hampstead for one night and I found this hotel had such a reasonable rate I decided to try it. Because of the price my expectations were not high, however when I arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. The service, cleanliness and the breakfast were a match for some four star London hotels. The room was not large but it was clean and comfortable and had a nice view of the neighborhood from the two windows and Hampstead village is a lovely...

"I felt very comfortable, safe, and take. care of here as a solo female traveler. I definitely recommend getting the deluxe room and will plan to be staying here again. It helps the food downstairs at the pub is great too! "

"The property was very clean and convenient location. Was close to the Edgewere road under ground and Paddington station. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. We were staying with our 3 year old so the kitchenette was perfect for making any top meals or lunches to take with us on our days out. Definitely booking with them again! "
