"Oddly unwelcoming guest, mocked me for using Expedia upon entry to the property. Laughed about me essentially getting scammed for using Expedia and instructed me that I wouldn't be having breakfast instead of offering it to me. Tiny bathroom with a tiny shower. Instructed that you are forbidden from bringing food in to your room. "We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. "I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "The location, the friendly staff, the amenities (gym and restaurant) were all above my expectation. The purpose of my visit was a trip to Old Trafford (the cricket ground) but it’s very accessible to both the football and the cricket ground respectively. Ample car parking too but I got there via public transport, also very convenient."
