"Needed a quiet place to get away and focus on developing some business processes and this was an excellent choice. Only regret is that I never made it into the sauna. "

"Our family had a lovely stay in Phoenicia at the "cozy bungalow." It was very pleasant to walk to town and the bungalow itself was indeed cozy. Enjoyed the sauna probably even more than expected after a long (cold, rainy) hike. Host provided excellent communication for any concerns."

"We loved the home and location, was a bit disappointed that a washer and dryer were not available but upon reading the house information again I realized that a washer and dryer were not listed so that’s my fault. The house is about 1 1/2 hours from the Bethel Museum that covers the Woodstock music festival. The museum is awesome. The scenery is beautiful and lots of hiking trails. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire trip."

"We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! The house was spotless when we arrived, and we were welcomed with a warm fire already going in the wood stove – such a nice touch. Peter and Lara were there to greet us and give us a tour, making us all feel right at home. We also really appreciated how responsive they were when we had a small issue with the hot tub – they took care of it right away. The place is absolutely gorgeous and so unique – you can really see the love and care they put into...

"We enjoyed our relaxing stay at this super cute well designed home. Our son played in the river/creek and fished all weekend. Great spot to read, relax and enjoy the fire in the winter months. Well stocked and nicely renovated. The outside of the home is more worn but overall very good stay. Also enjoyed a few nice restaurants. "

"Everything was fantastic. If it was not for the rain we could have enjoyed the fire pit and the many hikes located around the property. Family and kids enjoyed every minute! Host was responsive and very informative. "

"The place was close enough to Woodstock and surrounding areas to drive 10-20 minutes in each direction. My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing couple of days away. The hot tub was great. Easy to access with privacy ( the property is shared with other rentals but we only saw our neighbors once) The sun room was gorgeous in the morning to sit and have a cup of coffee and relax. Good backyard to let our dog run a bit. And surrounding area beautiful with creeks and nature. Good sized home if you...
