"It was a lovely little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The property had what we needed. The only thing lacking was the hole in the fly screen on the back door which let the flies in. The place itself was beautiful. I would go back."

"Loved the heritage cottage, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. All the supplies you need on hand with some little treats to feel welcome. Communication was easy and so friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat and what to see and do locally. So quiet and peaceful. Felt like home but better! Definitely recommend and I will go back again. "

"Fantastic unit in central Port Fairy. It had everything you would need for a short stay. We did not use the kitchen but there were plenty of pots etc to cook a meal. Close to coffee shops and bakeries. Spotlessly clean and a fantastic bed. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The house is a quaint style probably built in the 1940’s, the decor was also in that era, with modern renovations like the kitchen and bathroom. Also close to the beach."

"We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool"

"The house accommodation was ideal for our family. Plenty of room and just a short drive to the centre of Port Fairy shops and restaurants. The large grounds provided privacy and the large spa was an added feature. Highly recommended. "

"The cottage is located in quiet street, the bed was comfy, but the pillow is too soft for us, the kitchen is full of equipment to used and the spa bath was fantastic. and we noticed that they have many similar cottages around the town. some of really looking cute and nice to stay in for next visit."

"The property was well maintained, clean and inviting. It's perfect for a family or just two. The only concern was the windows in the two front rooms which were in need of replacement sash cords both being difficult to open and shut - dangerous for children. Otherwise, a roomy, lovely place. "
