For our family vacation this year, our grown children wanted a beach vacation halfway between their homes in Charleston, SC and Parkland, FL. I spent many many hours looking at properties that would accommodate 11 and suit our needs. Immediately upon opening the front door, my reaction to Windsurfer was WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Not only was it perfect for our needs, it exceeded all expectations in so many ways. First, communications with the owner was exceptional. I was fully informed and prepared for any imaginable question or contingency. Second, the house layout suited our needs: two downstairs bedrooms with shared bath and privacy from the common areas. The upstairs master bedroom (which was used for family with a 3 month old) gave them the quiet, space, and privacy required for an infant. A totally separate section of the second floor contained three bedrooms and two and one-half baths which kept a second family in their own private section. If I had to design a house for our ideal vacation - three grown children and four grandchildren - I could not have designed a better layout. Third, all the furniture, furnishings, electronics, and appliances were top shelf and well kept. The house was immaculate; the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, gadgets, cookware and place settings; there were books and games galore; plenty of beach equipment; and ample deck furniture.
