The only concern would be the safety around Amemura at night, but during my stay it did not appear to cause any problems. Overall, this hotel is a great deal for a solo trip."

"We had a great time, the rooms were clean and had everything you need. We travelled with kids and they enjoyed all the activities/snacks they had for them and the little play area. We were right on the edge of dotonbori so easy to access a lot in the area and also a major train stop nearby. The staff were very nice and gave us a lot of information and recommendations. "A 3 star room with a 5 star lobby and breakfast. SWISSOTEL has its location going for it and an amazing breakfast buffet with 360 views of Osaka from the 36th floor. But for a 5 star hotel we were left wanting more from the rooms. They are looking a bit dated and thread-bare. The shower/tub combo with 1/2 glass wall was a pain for anyone tall or wide. And room lacked the touches that would make it 5 star. At check in we called down to have our amenities restocked as they hadn’t been during room...
