"We had a fantastic stay at Tropical Beach Resorts in Siesta Key. The location couldn't be better — our suite was only about 300 feet from the beach access, which made trips to the sand and surf effortless. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. "This was a totally unexpected hotel stay. This is not the Wyndham Grand Resort we stayed in for two days with Spa and a plush restaurant. This was our favorite spot. We had a stove with fully supplied kitchen, walk in shower, mini frig, microwave, lovely queen bed that was very comfortable, and the best part was we each had a large private enclosed patio with umbrella and chairs. "The continental breakfast was simple but satisfying and included yogurt, fruit, and hardboiled (in the shell) eggs. Oranges were great (yes, it was in Florida). The pool was very nice, away from the road and surrounded by nice landscaping, but sometimes ran out of towels. The room was clean and in great condition. A broken soap dispenser in our shower was not fixed after we reported it. One "styley" lamp had a camouflaged switch it took me two days to find."

"The property was clean and stocked with cookware, towels, wash cloths, hand soap and shampoo, body wash products. They also provided beach towels and beach chairs which was appreciated. The reason I gave this property 4 and not a 5 because the bed was very uncomfortable for me. If your not one who can tolerate a firm mattress I’d take that into consideration. "Had 2-bedroom villa and villa and grounds were clean. Villa and grounds including pool are smaller than they appear in pictures. Convenient parking and daily cost was reasonable. Appreciated the small cooler, beach chairs, towels and wagon provided. Nice location, 5 min walk to beach and to small grocery, restaurants, bars and shops. Staff was professional and courteous. "Staff were amazing as usual, I stay there whenever I travel to Sarasota. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with a great staff taking care of everyone that comes to breakfast. We ate dinner around the fire feature and roasted marshmallows after, it was romantic for us and others seemed to enjoy sitting around the fire near the pond. Very nice!
