"My husband and I planned a quick overnight stay to break up our trip to Savannah from Ohio. We found this hotel on hotels.com. It was above our expectations! The friendly front desk service from all staff, very clean rooms, and free yummy hot and cold breakfast. There was an employee in the breakfast area the whole time to help. "Tastefully decorated, modern and ideally located within walking distance of everything downtown. Our room was very nice for a 5 night stay; we did note that the bathroom seemed to lack a fan. "We decided to stay at this historic property vs normally staying outside of Asheville and it did not disappoint! The location is central to all that downtown Asheville has to offer within a few short steps. The property was beautiful and we appreciated the charming touches from the old department store. "Great budget hotel, clean, quiet. We stayed 1 night just driving through Ashville. They had a nice continental breakfast, day office staff was nice and recommended a great place to eat for lunch."

"I’m sorry this rating only goes to 5 stars cause the place rates a 10. This place is customer focused from the time you car pulls up until you check out. The facility is a resorted 8 or 9 story office building built in 1926. They have kept the theme of the building but added 21st century convenience to the rooms and public areas. Every staff member had a smile and truly wanted to know if you were enjoying your stay. The location is perfect for exploring Asheville’s food scene. "

"Great space and even better location for the Biltmore. Fairly dated inside. Our unit was NOT very clean. Had not been vacuumed and kitchen wasn’t clean. Pool was closed for cleaning when we had hoped to use it mid afternoon. Pictures online make it appear more grand than it is in person. "
