"This is a fantastic vacation rental in a great location just near the beach. The beach is maybe 1 minute away via a beach access right across from the house. There is plenty of parking under the house, including on the street along the side. FYI we were told to park there, but i got a ticket as i was too close to the stop sign. "The Half Shell was the perfect house for our vacation. No steps! My Mom is 79 and my 2 dogs are 15 years old so no steps was a big plus! We had a great time. "The property was beautiful and clean and perfect for my family of 5. Check in and check out were super easy. The location is perfect!! The neighbors were quiet and respectful. "We enjoyed our stay. It’s a well invested home. No shortcuts. Everything we needed was there and then some. It was decorated nicely. The only thing we noticed there seemed to be a leak on the covered porch. The entry rug needs to be changed. It is stained, the floors could stand a deeper scrubbing between stays. We needed a plumber on Friday after hours and one was sent. We would definitely stay here again. "
