"Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…"

"This is a really lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Fowey with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and Town Quay. We spent hours on this terrace whiling away the heat enjoying a drink. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which had a small terrace with river views. With only 14 rooms it feels very special and up market, but is reasonably priced. "Lovely stay in this friendly pub. Fantastic breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were excellent, specially the lovely girl who worked so hard to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed by the locals and had two days of live music in the garden. Fab weekend."

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...
