"Everything was great! Touch to get into the parking garage and it has limited space. Everything else was great! Room was nice and updated! Staff extremely helpful!"

"Please do not book this place, it is simply not worth it. I got held against another guest who did not pay their deposit and convinced me that she was waiting for someone outside who caused a scene and broke stuff. As result I am not getting my deposit back for something I had no control over. When cops showed up and heard both of our stories, they even said it was a definitely a scammy property. TKAE MY ADVICE PLEASE."

"Firstly, there are no elevators/lifts so anyone who cannot climb flights of stairs may have difficulty. Secondly, the shower in my room was about 1ft above the shower floor and stepping out of it was simply dangerous - anyone with mobility issues would likely fall over. Fourthly, I tried to open the bathroom window and almost cut my fingers off when I released the top window which simply came crashing down (I am...

"Clean room, staff was friendly , building was secure really enjoyed my stay"

"Sophy Hyde Park is a very stylish, art forward hotel with beautiful, large and comfortable rooms, an engaging, friendly staff and a well-run, charming restaurant. The hotel is in a fun neighborhood which is convenient to The Obama Center and The University of Chicago."

"The room was Actually very clean. Staff was very nice with patient & polite. Nice view. Plenty of restaurants and stuff to do. I would Definitely suggest valet parking $76 in & out because self parking is $65 with no in & out."

"Limpieza ,atención,todo 100 ,muy complacida y feliz con mi estancia"

"The rooms were so nice and spacious! The staff went above and beyond. Our room was supposed to be cleaned everyday upon request and when we came back from our outing it wasn’t but they sent someone up right away to give us clean sheets and towels! Breakfast was great! The only thing I would have to say negative about this hotel is parking and the parking lot. It’s one way in and one way out with no way to turn around."

"Great location!"

"Clean room"

"Estuvo muy increíble, fue una experiencia maravillosa.Es un lugar precioso me encantó"

"The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Hotel parking was a little expensive but the attendants were great."

"The room was clean although the tv was a bit confusing to use the advertising for the room was different from what is shown on here. Overall very nice property not much noise can be heard even with a train station nearby. Staff was great and helpful. Bar is free most days from 3-7 also a free brunch on Sundays as well starting at 11 did not make it to the other events. Overall I had a really good stay."

"It was very nice"

"Compared to other hotels in its class, the service here is top-notch. The room decor isn't overly traditional, featuring prominent details and a clean, cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The pricing is fair, and the location is excellent. Traveling is effortless thanks to the hotel's one-mile shuttle service, and privacy is exceptional (we had a balcony room on the 19th floor). Overall great stay."
