"We loved our time at Sky bungalow! It was so peaceful that we chose to have two days of staying in, reading, relaxing in the hot tub, bird and butterfly watching and just hanging out. Convenient to Port Douglas where we did some excellent snorkeling and some ocean swimming. Easy trip to Mosman Gorge for a nice cool swim. Would love to stay here again someday! "

"This property is exactly what the pictures show. Peaceful, serene, and exceptionally welcoming. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The caretaker is a gem, she took care of all the little things that make a stay truly memorable. We needed a cot and blow up mattress for 2 small children, she prepped them and added extras around the home for them to explore as well. The AC and fans in every room kept us very comfortable even in mid summer, and the pool is a perfect relief...

"Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. "

"An oasis in the rainforest. Enjoyed long warm soak in most glorious outdoor bathtub, after refreshing cool dip in natural waterhole at creek. Lovely, quaint cottage with architectural flair, and well appointed, while being sustainable. Just gorgeous and central to all tourist attractions in Daintree."

"Beautiful, definitely a 5* weekend getaway! The house itself is clean and has everything you need - full indoor kitchen plus a huge outdoor kitchen & entertaining zone. The waterfall/swimming hole was amazing - middle of winter so water was cold but didn't stop us enjoy a relaxing day. Would stay again!"

"I loved everything about my stay here. The property is so quirky that it instantly feels like home. We were so blessed to see so much wildlife right at the door step, we even had critters trying to join us when we had a fire to cook. My friends that I travelled with became a little overwhelmed when the water ran out due to the water pump playing up and that drained the solar power but understood that's part of living in a rainforest and absolutely no fault to owners. "The family loved our stay at La Vista. The views and surrounds were spectacular and the place is spotless with everything we needed. The pool table and dartboard kept us entertained in the evening after our days out.Dean was an excellent host and answered all questions promptly and had some great tips.
