"The beach was beautiful. The décor has a slightly shabby chic style, although some areas could do with updating. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely come back again. The location is excellent."

"We enjoyed our harbour view room very much. There was always something going on around the harbour. it was quite a long way to the main Falmouth attractions so we ate mostly at the hotel . The food and drink at the hotel was quite pricey but perhaps on a par with other hotels in the area. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were helpful . The surroundings were a bit drab and the outside space quite limited and close to the road. The hotel was in need of decoration in some areas....

"This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Seaview is very limited in general from this property but lovely gardens make up for this. My father is in his 80s and managed ok, but to say this property is likely not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs and it's all built into a hillside. Beds in both rooms my family used could use an update- pretty uncomfortable and...

"It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall."

"We loved the Hotel Tresanton. It was expensive but well worth it. We had room 26 which is very high so you should check the room number if you have any mobility issues. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was the highlight of our 24 day stay. Our server, Izzy in the bar was amazing. "

"Double room with sea view sounds lovely doesn't it. Room was very dated, dirty, with a tiny window, and ridiculously hot. Too hot to sleep in. (and it wasn't one of the hotter days we've had recently, so good luck to anyone in that room when it is hot overnight) Ground Floor of hotel is wonderful and has retained charm, but reception is really scruffy and needs a major overhaul. Breakfast hot menu was good, although continental selection was limited. Amazing location, but disappointing...

"The hotel is a beautiful building. Rooms are a reasonable size but the bathroom in particular was in need of updating and modernisation. The reception staff were polite but some restaurant staff need to be better trained! Sunday evening dinner we asked about what came with a fish dish we had chosen as it didn't appear to include potato or rice and were told it was just as shown on the menu. We ordered a side of potatoes at an additional charge of £5 only to find that this dish DID come with...
