"This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

"The moment we settled in, we felt like we were on holidays. Very clean, well presented accommodation with all the amenities we could want. The heating was on when we arrived which was appreciated because it was a cold, stormy kind of day. Electric blankets on each bed, if required. Two couches and a single lounge chair, so plenty of sitting and lounging space. Large windows to capture the surroundings on every side of the cabin. Well appointed with well stocked fully functional kitchen. 2 bedroom apartment is made out of 2 separate areas: 1 apartment (1 king bed, bathroom with bath, 1 kitchen, 1 dining area , 1 seating area with smart TV, washing machine and dryer and outdoor area) and 1 studio (1 double bed, 1 kitchenette, 1 bathroom which includes a washing machine and its own outdoor seating area). "Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure. "
