"I came to this town to take the ferry to Honduras. The owners were so kind and the hotel was comfortable. They really went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful and even drove me to the ferry the next day. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was amazing and the room and beach were beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. The only suggestions I would make: 1. Put a “reserved” sign on the beach chairs in front of the freestanding villas. People who were not using the resort sat in ours and took our cushions a few times. Once when we were on our way out, another couple sat in ours and the staff told us they would move us to other chairs which I thought was inappropriate considering we were guests paying for 11 days. 2. "Umaya Resort is the perfect blend of comfort, location, and laid-back beach vibes. With a bakery, fruit stand and several award-winning beachfront restaurants a short walk away, no car is needed.
The property itself is fantastic. We loved spotting starfish and stingrays off the dock.
We enjoyed the complimentary paddle boards and kayaks, sunrise walks along the beach and the smoothie bar. Our unit had a full kitchen, great air conditioning and plenty of hot water.

"This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :).
