"I had an excellent stay at Hôtel Esplanade the first week of December for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was very conveniently located near a tram stop so that it was fast and easy to get down to the city center. More than that, it was a warm and quiet refuge to recover for the evening and at the end of the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two bars, two coffee shops, and a convenience store all within short walking distance. Would highly recommend!"

"La habitación es muy autentica y acojedora, y el baño es muy cómodos y nuevo. Tiene radiador para calefacción tanto en el baño como en la habitación. La cama de nuestra habitación era muy cómoda, la ropa de cama limpia y de alta calidad, ya que estuvimos entre 0ºy 4º y no tuvimos la necesidad de poner el calefactor, solo me tapaba con el nórdico y ya pasaba hasta calor. "The bed was most uncomfortable with a huge dip in the middle, and rather low. Outside the room were some bait boxes, probably for mice. The communal shower wasnt the best, only one per floor, but the toilet, also only one per floor, was clean and spacy. The hotel is situated in a rather run down neighbourhood which makes walking there after dark rather scary. However, the staff was wonderful and the price is cheap compared to other hotels in Strasbough."

"Je n’ai pas pris de petit déjeuner. Plusieurs choses étaient défectueuses dans la chambre. Je ne me suis pas lavée pendant 3 jours car pas très propres et je ne supporte pas les douches en commun. Quant aux sanitaires n’en parlons pas . Ce type d’établissement ne devrait pas exister. À fuir"

The hotel was located in a lovely quiet area of Strasbourg. And it was very easy for us to navigate our way around the city . All in all an excellent stay . "
