"Maurizio et Maria furent très gentil de nous accueillir en nous ayant préparé un repas pour toute la famille à notre arrivée! Il fut d’autant plus apprécié après une longue route depuis Palerme! La communication était impeccable et l’endroit très propre et bien entretenu. Comme les hôtes demeuraient au rez de chaussé, ils pouvaient nous dépanner au besoin et nous informer des bons endroits où aller (épicerie, restaurant, endroits à visiter, etc…). "Il Comandante is a large apartment that is located a short walk to the main street of Piedimonte Etneo. It has views of Mt Etna, as well as to the ocean and over Catania. "The location was perfect for what we wanted to do - i.e. see Mt. Etna and visit Taormina. The grounds are landscaped beautifully as the pictures show and the cabin is as small as the pictures suggest. As long as you can use the front deck, as we did, you don't feel too cramped. The 'buffet' breakfast must be something lost in translation. There was a jar of cookies and a basket of packaged pastries but that was it.
