Piazza Umberto I

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptional friendly, professional, welcoming and always willing to help, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was excellent, offering a pleasant atmosphere, located in the heart of Venice, just a few steps from Piazza San Marco, overlooking a canal where gondolas glide by. Housed in a 17th-century building with a private courtyard, the hotel combines an elegant atmosphere with antique furniture and modern amenities. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was were spotless, well-maintained and carefully looked after.

I loved this place! So charming! Breakfast was wonderful! Staff was extremely helpful! The location was a little out of the way for an elderly couple with too much luggage, but it was located in an interesting area of Venice! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for local charm!

Our room was amazing, but the entire breakfast staff were all very rude. The chef was the only competent person on the crew. Though the architecture of this hotel is very beautiful, and well maintained, we would never stay at this Hotel again. Christopher, at the front desk, was the only competent and knowledgeable employee on the property, other than the chef. The rest of the staff were beyond rude. None of them belong in the service business.
