The Fitler Club is an interesting place. Once you figure out how to get inside, the facilities are very nice. Finding the front door is difficult. You have to enter on the ground floor level, which can only be accessed from the main lobby of the building by going out to the parking garage, walking down 2 flights of stairs in the parking garage to an exit door marked Emergency Exit Only, and sure enough when you open the door, the alarm sounds. Once the door closes the alarm shuts off. Then you have to walk across an alley to the Fitler entrance, only to have to take the elevator back up 2 stories to the main dining area, bar and hotel rooms. It would be so much easier to just let people take the elevator from the lobby to the front desk, but clearly there is some issue with that.
After all that, you are ready for a drink, and the good news is the people are nice, the restaurant was very good, the bar was hopping.
Finding the hotel rooms is another mystery tour. You have to wind around a few left and rights down hallways, where if you go thru the wrong door you end up in the kitchen. Once you do a few back tracks and finally find the rooms, they are very nice. And because they are around a few corners from the noisy bar area, the rooms are very quiet.
Overall I would definitely go back to stay and eat, but I would invite them to improve the entrance experience since that is everyone's first impression, and it was kind of an Alice in Wonderland experience.
