"We booked and paid for a 7 night stay at this apartment. We arrived around 7:30pm local time after an all night trans-Atlantic flight from Canada. We were met by Ruba, who does not speak Engish. She communicates via what’s app with her English speaking sister, Joudy, who we believe does not reside in Greece. The issues we faced: 1. The bed was advertised as KING size, it was Queen size. 2. "I can’t put into words how dirty this place was! Even though the owner claimed the room was recently cleaned, the sheets and towels had stains, and the couch was filthy. The kitchen surface was sticky and there was a cockroach running around in the kitchen, which was the last nail in the coffin for us. We left and booked a hotel! The pictures of this place are the definition of catfishing because half of the items shown are not in the apartment. It has no facilities (not even soap!!!!). The...

"Electra Metropolis’s location is amazing. Right in the heart of Athens and walking distance to all relevant sights, dinning and shopping. Their staff is excellent. Super efficient in addressing our needs. We also dined at their rooftop restaurant - views, service and food were excellent. We also dined at rooftop at Grande Bretagne, and Electra’s views of the Acropolis, service and fresh catch of the day were far better than GB Roof garden. "Hotel was very clean and in a great location. Close to the attractions and the train station. View from the rooftop bar was amazing, but both the bar and restaurant were closed for the winter season. Breakfast options were amazing as well. The only thing is getting on our balcony was a bit tricky and the doorway couldn't open fully. Shower had great pressure as well. And the staff were super friendly and helpful."

"I stayed here one night before getting an early morning ferry to an island. I booked a classic room. As I was in late and out early. The room I had is perfect for that. "Beautiful hotel. He rooms were small but well appointed, bed comfy with lovely linens. The staff at the hotel were super accommodating and helpful. The rooftop restaurant/bar was gorgeous. We were only there one night but we would definitely go back. "

"The hotel is an excellent location, you can walk to everything you need to see in the city. The rooms are smaller than what you think they might be so be prepared for small spaces, especially in the bathroom. The front desk stuff were amazing. They looked after all of our needs even called to confirm one of our daytime activities. We would definitely stay there again."
