"Stony Brook Cottage had not been cleaned well. There is a big problem with mice. Several lamps didn’t work. No spoons in the kitchen. Those are the negatives. The property, however, is situated on a gorgeous piece of land with a stream and woods for two elementary age boys to run around in. The hot tub was clean and had different temperature controls. They thoroughly enjoyed the game room. We had a wonderful time."

"Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone."

"How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

"This is a lovely cabin property! The interior was very nicely furnished. The kitchen well equipped with new appliances. It has an old farmhouse sink, updated with modern fixtures. The beds were comfy and the house was well stocked with towels and linen. The whole cabin was exceptionally clean. It’s also close to DuPont (15ish minutes to the main visitor centers) for hiking or biking. Would definitely recommend this cabin. "

"We had a wonderful time at Turkey Run cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely furnished. The bed was comfy. The view was so lovely while sitting on porch swing. We did a lot of hiking in Pisgah Forest and the waterfalls are so pretty. Loved coming back to the cabin and being greeted by the friendly horses.Alisha was great at communication with us.Brevard was a charming town and people so friendly. We hope to return in the future!"
