"Pleasant stay in an older style Unit No:3. Spacious Unit with comfortable recliner chairs. Bed and bedding were very good. The shower head was not good, needs fixing. Hot water was good. Plenty of bench space in the well equipped Kitchen. Very quiet area, with an easy walk to the Main Street."

"It was a very quiet and peaceful setting but still very close to all amenities. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The cabins were older style and did look a bit tired in places but it was very clean. Limited channels on the television and they dropped and we lost signal many times.."

"Nice cabin for a one night stay."

"The property was great. We received terrific support from the owner. The grounds were very well maintained, the cottage was spacious, clean and all the amenities were in good working order. The cottages were fairly centrally located, only minutes from all the town centre and other venues. Short drive to Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful peaceful and restful overlooking the canals of Paynesville. Very spacious apartments with everything you could need. Only a short walk to the ferry and town. Very warm and cosy in May."

"This was my fourth stay at Anchorage and it’s my “Go To” in Lakes. Older style self-contained units but well maintained, clean and have everything you want and always at great value compared to other places nearby. Excellent location just off Myer St so easy walk to shops, restaurants and the footbridge to the beach. Paul the host is great at communication and I turned up late on a cold night to find a welcome light on and the heating on ready for me. Already have my next stay here booked"

"Loved that the Cabin had everything that we needed during our stay we asked for an early checkin which we were provided. Only negative in our stay was that on our fridge it stated that Unit 9 had a free Wifi service but when i rang up i was told there was no free Wifi. So we had to both use our mobile phone data which we both Thankyou at the prices if similar to this time we would 100%"stay longer than this time we srayed."

"We loved our stay! So spacious and everything you need! Not essential, but to make it better would be great to have air (fan or air con) in the bottom bedrooms - as I think if it was hotter than our stay it might get quite stuffy. But would for sure return!!"

"Perfect location for a family trip away (hubbie, me and our dog). Our dog loved the garden and found all the sunny spots to relax in! The garden was secure for him to explore. All our needs were catered for & we were very comfortable in the house. Excellent pasta from the Little Red Bucket just up the road highly recommended. Central location to get to all the surrounding places. We had a lovely stay thank you. "

Unfortunately, there was little effort by the owners to fix small problems, and this detracted from the overall experience. "We had a great time at the studio. We didn’t know the kitchen didn’t have a sink and you needed to take water from the toilet tap. Is it doable but not ideal. Other than that, great stay. Good communication and clean and beautiful studio. Thank you for having us . "
