We had a bad experience with one of the waiters in the restaurant where it took 25 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and 55 minutes before finally getting the food. Being a small village there was not really an option to go elsewhere. We normally stay in Henley where there are lots of good restaurants "

"We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Shown to our room, which was very nice and cosy. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a drink to go with it. "It was clean but condition of room wasnt great. It served the purpose of a last minute cheap option. Was a bit difficult to find as entrance is between shops and the rooms are above the shops."

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"
