"The property owner did a great job with communicating. That was the primary strength. Outside of that, this was a disappointment. While the owner did warn us, entering the driveway was dodgy. Vehicles coming around a mostly blind corner is a safety issue (one that the homeowner cannot control, but still worth mention). The unit is small as expected. We did not use the kitchen other than the microwave and for a cup of coffee. The unit is generally crowded and very tired. The ceiling is low, but...

"Upon arrival my husband said “Wow , we are staying here. This is beautiful.” We got of our truck and heard a dog barking inside the front of the house. I was worried we were at the wrong house. We walked toward the front back portion of the and the door was open snd we walked in. This was the cottage that was in the VRBO picture and there was a binder on the table with all information needed for the area. The home is so clean and welcoming. "We rented this house for a family reunion recently. Place is great! Definitely an antique farmhouse and it has that level of charm. The property is beautiful and it fit our needs for a weekend stay. Communicating with the property manager was easy as well. That said we were not impressed with the level of cleanliness upon our arrival, as it was clear that the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job.
